My home church is the Lewis Creek Baptist, Waldron, Indiana. You could say that I have been attending Lewis Creek since before birth! I asked Jesus into my heart at church camp because of the foundation that the church provided, and was baptized at Lewis Creek at age 9. I serve as a deacon, and sing with the praise team and choir. I have served as trustee, on staff relations and other special groups.

I graduated college from Miami University, (Ohio), and graduate school from Indiana State. I hold a Clinical Social Worker’s license most recently used for over 25 years at Valle Vista Psychiatric Hospital in Greenwood on a PRN or as needed basis.

I came to know Yvon Selin through the late Don Miller, and my parents, Carl and Bev Mohr. My parents had a heart for Haiti, and with Don they began a lifelong relationship with Yvon. I came into the picture as a tag along. I cannot remember a time when I didn’t know of Yvon and his work effort for Christ’s kingdom in Haiti. The love for the people there came as second nature to me because of my family’s involvement and experiencing the Haitian joy and love of our Lord.

I am currently running my parent’s company a heavy and high lifting crane service after my father’s death in 2014, and my mother’s recent passing this last April.

I love the Lord with all my heart and seek Him daily. I love serving our Lord with this community of believers.
