My name is Terry Hawk. I am 77 years old from Tipp City, Ohio, and I am married to my wife Gretchen.

I have taught “at risk” students in high school for a total of 42 years. My education background includes a BBA from Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Dayton.

My wife and I became involved with Yvon Selin and GCMO when we sponsored a lovely lady named Giselle to come and stay with us, and to be fitted with a prosthetic leg. Giselle lost her leg in Haiti at her home in Tom Gato during the earthquake. It was a situation where Giselle spoke no English and we spoke no Creole or French. However, we communicated well through God’s love and the occasional assistance of a translator. It was a great adventure for all.

Previously, I have been involved in mission trips both in and out of the country.

My wife and I are members and have belonged to the Ginghamsburg Church for 25 years. I have believed our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the Son of God for all of my life.

I have been on the Board of Directors of GCMO since its founding.
