Dear Coworkers in Christ:

Thank you so much for your love, your prayers and your ongoing financial support in this great partnership in the cause of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. You are the real engine behind the scene that keeps the wheels turning. We could not continue to do the ministry we are doing without your constant fervent prayers and your ongoing financial commitment. In spite of all the contrary winds which are blowing against all odds, GCMO is committed to preach the Word to the multitudes, to plant churches where His name is yet unknown, and build leaders for the great harvest. All of this could be summed up in the verses, ”The young boys and girls are touched, the hungry are fed, the naked are clothed, the downtrodden are comforted, and the good news is being preached to the poor.” Meanwhile here in the field, the tension continues to rise. The government is planning on consulting the people on a referendum for a brand new constitution possibly in June. Then at the end of November a general election will be held. However, the opposition parties are not moving one single inch; they still demand a short term transition government to take over. While the capital of Port-Au-Prince, is submerging in violence and chaos: Bloodshed and kidnappings are descriptive of everyday life. This is what is called a new normal for all. The crisis seems to be general and is reaching out to every scale of the social life: They have kidnapped preachers and priests, doctors and engineers, and men and women of all description.
